My paintings are an expression of how I see the world: bold, vibrant and full of texture. I love working with rich colours, unexpected combinations and layers of texture that invite you to look closer, discover something new, and perhaps feel something different each time you see the painting. For me, painting isn’t about following rules. It’s about exploring, experimenting and letting the artwork evolve. I love the freedom of adding layers, marks and tactile details until a painting begins to develop its own personality. Colour is at the heart of what I create. Sometimes it’s joyful and energetic; sometimes it’s dramatic and atmospheric. Texture adds another dimension — you can almost imagine the movement of the brush, the layers beneath the surface and the story hidden within them. I want my paintings to do more than simply decorate a wall. I want them to create a feeling.
